Apply creme colors with a sponge, or brush. To create customized blends of colors, use a spatula and mixing palette to create new hues and shades prior to application. Stipple or pat colors to build opacity, and use soft buffing motions or light strokes of a brush to diffuse shades and soften edges. Blend colors directly on the skin to build depth and layers in your makeup designs.
